Let’s not dwell on what is wrong with Canada today let it suffice to say that we have lost the path to where we were going in the early days of this nation. We have not maintained the freedom that so many fought for in our great wars.
Canada is at this point still that great nation that we imagine it to be but we teeter on the edge of a precipice of change that can go either way. We may be thrown into great loss of culture, nature and economy if we do not adjust our mindset and reaffirm our culture.
What are our true gifts? What are our true strengths? What is our culture?
I will not attempt to answer these questions or be authoritative to the subjects that are raised, but I do think we as Canadians need to be challenged and we need to assert our “Canadianess” to the world.
Let’s be free to argue and fight out the details of a great future with Canada as a leader in the world in the areas of environment, technology, peace keeping and Good Government.
How we do these things is up to use to decide but make the wrong choices over and over and we will burn this house down.
